Geneva Motor Show: Seat Toledo Prototype is One Step Away from Production

Geneva Motor Show - At this year's edition of the Geneva Motor Show, Seat is exhibiting it’s vision of what the…Skoda Mission L study should look like with the Toledo prototype.
As it seems, the Volkswagen Group has more or less given up on its dream of creating an Alfa Romeo brand out of Seat so the Spaniards are once again targeting economy-minded customers.
The new Toledo is virtually production ready and is scheduled to arrive in dealerships across Europe by the end of the year.
While the vehicle's profile design is identical to the Skoda Mission L, Seat's designers crafted on a different fascia and rear end loosely inspired by the company's recent concept cars like the IBE, IBX and IBL.
The no-frills notchback model measures 4,480mm long and rides on a 2,600mm wheelbase offering more than 500 liters of boot space, which should be one of its primary selling points.
Seat hasn't confirmed the production model's engine lineup but it's a no brainer that it will get the usual batch of petrol and diesel units found in other compact VW Group models.
